We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, the product of holy men of old who spoke and wrote as they were moved on by the Holy Spirit. We accept the New Covenant, as recorded in the New Testament, as our infallible guide in conduct and doctrine (II Timothy 3:16; I Thessalonians 2:13; I Peter 1:23-25; II Peter 1:21).
-
We believe that Jesus Christ is God's Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin, Mary (Genesis 3:15; Isaiah 7:14, 9:6; Matthew 1:18-23; Luke 1:30-35, 2:21).
-
We believe there is one, true Godhead comprised of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. All are co-equal and co-eternal (John 1:1, 14, 18, 10:30, 12:44-45, 15:26, 16:7-16, 27-28; Matthew 3:16-17, 28:19; I John 5:5-7).
-
We believe that a person’s first step toward salvation is godly sorrow that works repentance. It is necessary that every man and woman be born again, and when the new birth is fulfilled, eternal life is produced (John 3:3-5; II Corinthians 7:10; I John 5:11-13).
-
Man's only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ the Son of God.
• Conditions to Salvation. Salvation is received through repentance toward God and faith toward the Lord Jesus Christ. By the washing of regeneration and renewing of Holy Spirit, being justified by grace through faith, man becomes an heir of God according to the hope of eternal life (Luke 24:47; John 3:3; Romans 10:13-15; Ephesians 2:8; Titus 2:11, 3:5-7).
• The Evidences of Salvation. The inward evidence of salvation is the direct witness of the Spirit (Romans 8:16). The outward evidence to all men is a life of righteousness and true holiness (Ephesians 4:24; Titus 2:12).
-
We believe that the Scriptures teach a life of sanctification and holiness without which no person shall see the Lord. By the power of the Holy Spirit we are able to obey the command, "Be ye holy, for I am holy." Entire sanctification is the will of God for all believers and should be earnestly pursued by walking in obedience to God's Word (Hebrews 12:14; I Peter 1:14-19; I Thessalonians 5:23-24; I John 2:3-6, 3:1-3).
-
We believe that baptism in water is an ordinance and a direct commandment of our Lord and is for believers only. This ordinance is a symbol of the believer's identification with Jesus Christ in His death, burial and resurrection. Our scriptural method, as found in the New Testament, is by complete immersion, calling upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:19; Mark 16:16; Acts 8:35-39, 10:47-48; Romans 6:4).
-
We believe that communion, The Lord's Supper, is the ordinance given by the Lord to commemorate the covenant relationship between God and man or woman, made possible through the shed blood of Jesus Christ (Mark 14:22-24; I Corinthians 10:16, 11:23-31).
-
The needs of the New Testament Church, its varied ministries along with its God ordained leadership are to be met by the tithes and offerings of the believers (Matthew 23:23; I Corinthians 16:1; II Corinthians 9:6-7). Christians are also admonished to attend to the poor and needy met through Alms. This includes not just the poor in the Body of Christ but those in the local community (1 John 3:17; Luke 3:11, 6:30, 14:13; Matthew 6:1; Acts 9:36, 10:2, 10:4, 11:29, 24:17, 20:35; Galatians 2:10; Romans 15:25-27; 1 Corinthians 16:1-4).

All believers are entitled to, should ardently expect and earnestly seek the promise of the Father, the baptism in Holy Spirit and fire, according to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible evidence of the baptism in Holy Spirit is witnessed by the physical sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance. (Acts 2:4; 10:46; 19:6). This was the normal experience of all in the early Christian church. With it comes the endowment of power for life and service, the bestowment of the gifts and their uses in the work of the ministry (Luke 24:49; Acts 1:4; I Corinthians 12:1-31). With the baptism in Holy Spirit comes such experiences as an overflowing fullness of the Spirit (John 7:37-39; Acts 4:8), a deepened reverence for God (Acts 2:42-43), and a more active love for Christ, for His Word, and for the lost (Mark 16:20).
2. Spiritual Gifts. Holy Spirit distributes to the believer Spiritual Gifts as He wills. These gifts differ according to the grace given to us. As members of the Body of Christ we should work together using the manifestation of the Spirit through those different gifts for the common good (Romans 12:6-8; 1 Corinthians 12:4-12).
-
We believe that healing for the physical body is provided for through the redemptive work of Jesus Christ and is the privilege of every member of the body of Christ today. Healing is wrought by the power of God through the prayer of faith and/or by the laying on of hands (Psalms 103:2-3; Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:16-17; Mark 16:17-18; I Peter 2:24; James 5:14-15).
-
1. The Church is the Body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit, with divine appointment for the fulfillment of her great commission. The Body of Christ have been commanded to preach the Gospel to all creation (Mark 16:15), make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19), and love the Lord with all our heart, soul, strength, and mind and love our neighbor as ourselves (Luke 10:27). Each believer, born of the Spirit, is an integral part of the Church (Ephesians 1:22-23; 2:22; Hebrews 12:23).
2. Since God's purpose concerning man is to seek and to save that which is lost, to be worshipped by man, and to build a body of believers in the image of His Son, the priority reason-for-being the Church of Christ is:
• To be an agency of God for evangelizing the world (Acts 1:8; Matthew 28:19-20; Mark 16:15-16).
• To be a corporate body in which man may worship God (I Corinthians 12:13).
• To be a channel of God's purpose to build a body of saints being perfected in the image of His Son (Ephesians 4:11-16; I Corinthians 12:28; 14:12).
-
We believe Jesus is coming again to gather all His saints to Heaven (I Corinthians 15:51-52; I Thessalonians 4:16-17; II Thessalonians 2:1).
-
We believe the one who physically dies in his or her sins without Christ is hopelessly and eternally lost in the Lake of Fire, and therefore, has no further opportunity of hearing the Gospel or repenting. The Lake of Fire is literal. The terms "eternal" and "everlasting" used in describing the duration of the punishment of the damned in the Lake of Fire, carry the same thought and meaning of endless existence as used in denoting the duration of joy and ecstasy of the saints in the presence of God (Hebrews 9:27; Revelation 20:10-15, 21:1-8).
